Application form for volunteers 2026

How great that you want to sign up (again) as a volunteer for the International Film Festival Assen (IFA), taking place from March 5 to 8, 2026. As a thank-you for your help, if you’re scheduled for more than three shifts, you can attend an unlimited number of festival screenings for free outside your shifts. On top of that, we’ll make sure you’re well taken care of with lunches, dinners, and plenty of snacks and treats.

Important dates
Here are some key dates to keep in mind:

• February 10: last day to sign up
• February 20: draft schedule
• February 27: final schedule
• February 27: general volunteer briefing (more info will follow mid-February, but please block this date in your calendar)
• March 2–6: education screenings
• March 4–5: festival setup
• March 5–8: 46th edition of the International Film Festival Assen!
• March 8: volunteer drinks
